Thanksgiving Three

Before dinner — 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, River Road Ranch, Russian River Valley. Pear, white peach and lemongrass. Pour it with the cheese board, the shrimp cocktail and anything stuffed with herbs.

At the table — 2024 Albariño, McCormack Ranch, Solano County. Nectarine, lime zest and a little sea salt. Bright enough to cut through turkey, stuffing, cranberry and green beans on one plate.

For the dark meat — 2023 Cabernet Franc, Nervo Ranch, Alexander Valley. Our juiciest Cab Franc: lush black cherry and black plum, with roasted pepper and a little sweet tobacco underneath. Made for dark meat, the sage in the stuffing and the cranberry on the side.
